The Head, Public Affairs of the council, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu, who disclosed this on Thursday declined to name the affected schools, he said the schools are usually referred by their centre numbers and not by their names.
He added that WAEC officials were locked out for more than 30 minutes in the second school obviously for examination malpractice to perpetrate.
He noted that as for the derecognized schools, examinations will still hold in their schools but their teachers will not be used as invigilators.
He added that there are 28 of those schools across the country and they can still reapply after two years, stating that things have been put in place to prevent a recurrence of examination malpractice.

Code Lagos to train one million in info technology
The Lagos State Government has unveiled a plan to train a million people in information technology in the next three years.
The project tagged Code Lagos is, according to the state’s Ministry of Education, a major way to make the state the frontier of technology in Africa.
Among the 1,ooo,ooo Lagosians to benefit will be 150 students to be drawn from the tertiary institutions in the state.
The scheme will also train and mentor 250, 000 secondary and 12,000 primary pupils.
These are apart from 400,000 people to be trained online and 100,000 to be trained at public libraries and ICT places.
The curriculum of Code Lagos includes logical reasoning, problem solving, design thinking and creativity.
Key stakeholders are very excited about the programme, with the state Governor, Akinwumi Ambode, noting that it would impact on the socio-economic lives of the people in the nearest future.
He said, “This is a deliberate attempt by us to establish a strong convergence between technology, economic development and governance.”
At the unveiling of Code Lagos at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, on Friday, the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Idiat Adebule, explained that it was predicated on the fact that the future of Lagos was tech-driven.
She noted that with an increasing youthful population and the digitalisation of every facet of work and life, an investment in technology education was not only important, it was also imperative.
The Special Adviser to Governor Ambode on Education, Obafela Bank-Olemoh, described Code Lagos as a strategic concept that would further transform the state which, he said, was currently the fifth largest economy in Africa.
On how the project would work, he said it would engage facilitators that would teach students four days a week.
It would also involve the deployment of the Raspberry Pi, a credit card-sized computer that plugs into a monitor and a keyboard in the schools and other relevant centres.
Bank-Olemoh said Code Lagos would be a partnership between the public and private sectors.
He said, “Code Lagos is big, bold and ambitious, but we have assured ourselves that this is Lagos and that we can do it. It will create ripple Its effects will create ripples across the country.”

2016 Admission: JAMB To Reduce The Cut-Off Mark of Some Institutions
The Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede has disclosed that the board has received a go ahead from the Minister of Education and other relevant stake holders to reduce the cut of marks of institutions that have exhausted their list of candidates with 180 and above but still have not admitted up to their allocated quota.
He made this known during the second technical committee meeting on “2016 Admissions to Tertiary Institutions” which was held at the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri.
According to him, many institutions who were part of the decision to adopt the 180 minimum benchmark especially the new ones are finding it difficult to admit candidates and have asked for a waiver to enable them admit candidates that scored below 180 in 2016 UTME.
He added that following the plea by the affected institutions, the board forwarded their plea to the appropriate authorities and has received a green light on flexible cut-off mark only for institutions, which have exhausted the list of candidates with 180 above. However, this will be subject, to a minimum acceptable to JAMB and meeting of other pre-requisite.
This means that all hope is not lost for candidates who did not score up to 180 in 2016 UTME as they can still be considered for admission.

Leke Baiyewu, Abuja
Strong indications have emerged that the leadership of the Senate and the Presidency have reached a deal on the 2017-2019 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper earlier rejected by the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
A source close to the leadership of the Senate said this was the fallout of the meetings between President Muhammadu Buhari; President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
It was learnt on Sunday that the Senate, which returned the MTEF and FSP to the Presidency last week, had accepted to receive a detailed version of the document from the Executive this week.
The source said the preparation of the 2017 budget and the proposed $29.96bn external borrowing would be fast-tracked by the legislature.
Saraki had met with Buhari three times last week during which the issues of the MTEF and FSP as well as the foreign loan were raised.
The source further said the meetings between the leadership of the National Assembly and the Presidency were called to bridge the gap between the legislature and the executive.
Confirming the development, the Majority Leader of the Senate, Senator Ali Ndume, told our correspondent on the telephone on Saturday that the matters would be resolved this week.
Ndume had described the MTEF and FSP sent to the Senate by Buhari for legislative approval as “empty” due to missing details in the document.
“We will deal with the issues this week by God’s grace,” he said.
When asked if the Senate had got a positive response from the Presidency on the issues, he said, “Yes, of course.”
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Sabi Abdullahi, said, “As it is, we don’t even have any information that will enable us to be diligent.
“We passed the budget and the borrowing plan in the budget was clear, N3.2tn made up of N900bn from domestic sources and the balance from external lenders. But the question is: with the new one that was sent, what have they done with respect to the provisions of the 2016 budget? It is not clear. How are they going to do it?
“Those are the things we presume are in the document that Mr. President said was ‘attached’, which, unfortunately, his officials were careless about and they showed that they are truly incompetent. This is the first time we are seeing information on the budget sent to us without those details. It came as a letter. We saw the letter and it was read.
“Do we have any alternative? No, we don’t. I have seen situations where people have tried as much as possible to create and perpetuate the frosty relationship between the two arms of government. It is unfortunate.”
Also, the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Communications, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, said the upper chamber of the National Assembly was not against the President and his economic policies despite the recent rejection of projects from the executive.
The senator, who is also a member of the Committee on Finance, stated that the Senate only wanted Buhari and his economic team to do a thorough job when dealing with the legislature.
